I first bought the Proform HIIT Trainer Pro thru Proform and was hopeful on a nice machine for getting fit. The purchase experience was a disaster. Product arrived defective. And trying to get customer support for service was the worst experience I have ever had. They use Icon for service. I also found out that Nordictrack also uses this company for service needs. I decided to look for other exercise equipment who did not use Icon. Started more research and came across Nautilus, Schwinn, Bowflex, and Sole brands. I decide for the money and capabilities and warranty, I decided on the Nautilus E616. The only issue I had, was with the delivery scheduling. I kept getting confusing email from Amazon Delivery and the Freight Company. But once the delivery date was set, a day later, it was delivered. It took me a couple of hours to assemble and test. All worked great. Once I got on the machine and used it for the first time I realized how out of shape I was. But I know this is the right machine to get back in shape. No impact on my knees and joints and lots of programs. I still need to figure how to use programs and all the bells and whistles it comes with. But I still feel this sturdy and very quiet, stable machine was the right purchase.

I did tons of research on ellipticals before I made my purchase~ reviews were really good so this is the one I decided on. It was delivered quickly, and assembled nicely, however the machine is not what I had hoped for once I actually used it. This machine is more like a stair master, not an elliptical. (others who have used my machine agree) I've used many ellipticals before, and would always burn around the same amount of calories, and the post workout feeling would always be the same. However this machine is much more like a stairmaster, in the sense that my calories burned are A LOT less, it feels inclined, even when settings are on 'No Incline', and my post workout mostly targets my butt/thighs. If I was in the market for a Stairmaster, I would absolutely love this purchase. But if you're shopping for an actual Elliptical, I would keep searching. I'm hoping Nautilus makes changes to the way this machine is presented.

UPDATE 092819: Do NOT use the built-in fan because internal microparticles could contribute in causing breathing/microBLOOD CLOTS in fragile/susceptible users (Use Duct Tape or painters blue tape to cover the outgoing fan vent as a reminder not to use it)! Even when the fan is used by more healthy users they notice a difference by coughing/clearing their throats often after using the fan.ORIG REVIEW Dec 2018:The assembly of this unit was "part of the deal", and Amazon is not providing a "review" of the Assembly Team unless they completed the assembly. The Amazon assembly contractor assigned to our purchase DID NOT complete or attempt to assemble our elliptical. Several days before our assembly appointment we received confirmation of a scheduled assembly time. The Amazon contractor, "Christopher" in the greater northern Virginia, DC and Maryland areas, FAILED to even show up, FAILED to call and FAILED to text us during the scheduled installation. After the scheduled window time expired WE had to research and call "Christopher" (the owner of the regional company) who said that since he and his crew did not find our address on their location services they UNILATERALLY cancelled the scheduled assembly appointment. But our address IS on location services. On top of that Christoper's assembly team DID NOT NOTIFY US, THE CUSTOMER OF THEIR DETERMINATION AFTER WE STAYED HOME SPECIFICALLY FOR THE INSTALL. THEY CANCELLED THE MORNING OF THE SCHEDULED INTERVIEW. Christoper said to contact Amazon to reschedule or complain.Only after pitching a fit with Amazon involving 3 of their Customer Service representative (including one on Chat, then transferred to a live Tier 1 rep, then, after his failure to provide us a reasonable remedy and at our insistence, to a Supervisory Rep (Karen), who after about 15 minutes we finally found a fair solution--which at our insistence DID NOT include their contractor Christopher and his team.
